She was feeling pretty frisky on this particular day and started off toward the water, totally nude but continuing to wear her sunglasses and my baseball cap. I commented that this might be carrying confidence a bit too far, into the territory of arrogant foolishness I think I said. She smiled, posed briefly posed briefly with her nips thrust out inches from my mouth, turned and sauntered toward the water. Sensing a photo op, I pulled out my camera and followed. It was a beautiful day. The water sports crowd, skiers, windsurfers, parasailers, were all active in the water (photo #0). Shot #1 shows Elle walking into the water. #3 shows her during her grandstanding approach to the waves. And in she goes in #4! In #5 she emerges and turns to shout and wave triumphantly to me. This is one of my all-time favourite photos of Elle. She does look luscious, doesn’t she!!? But obviously a bit over confident. As is evident in #5 just when she waved some real “crunchers” were about to hit her from behind. Unfortunately I missed the critical moment. She was buffeted, drenched, and temporarily lost both hat and glasses. Recovering nicely she retrieved both successfully and retreated back to dry land where I got shot #6. I was impressed that her spirits were not completely dampened. She took off her (my) hat and her sunglasses (#8) and lay right down on the sand to sun herself back to recovery (#9). Special challenge: guess Elle’s age! less
