If anyone would know the answer to this question...they "Might" be in here....

Here is the question that was asked of me?

I have a question for you. DO you know of any software that I can get to shorten a new video I made? I am seriously 10 seconds too long and it is a REALLY good video. Any suggestions?

Wonder how long I have to wait before I get an answer if in fact I even do get an answer.....time starts...NOW

Tx sweetie, you use a Windows based OS.... I would suggest you use Windows Movie Maker to trim off the 10 seconds in the time line, Then if you want to do any other work to the video, use something like Vegas Pro to add the titles, do color correction etc.

It's much easier that way

Mostly under Linux there's a program called mplayer and with it comes mencoder. They do zillions of things and the documentation is huge but you could probably either drop a few frames or speed up the frame rate for starters. They're strictly command-line programs but there are some GUI frontends I think, never tried them. You can convert formats, split out still images, make a video from still images, resize, change bit rates, I think it can even deal with Flash.

There are Windows and Mac versions. It works under OpenBSD, that's all I care about. And it's free of course. http://www.mplayerhq.hu

Old question, I know, but just for the record.
