On this day.. 19 years ago, 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights, 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning, 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift, 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol, 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. None of them saw past 10:00am Sept 11, 2001. In one single moment life may never be the same. As you live and enjoy the breaths you take today and tonight before you go to sleep in preparation for your life tomorrow, kiss the ones you love, snuggle a little tighter, and never take one second of your life for granted.

The attacks of September 11th were meant to break the American spirit, but instead we came out much stronger on the other side. WE WILL NEVER FORGET the lives lost on that darkest of days, we will remember the families living in grief.
We must also remember the incredible courage and human kindness shown on that tragic day.

On Friday, the 11th, there was a special ceremony for the families of the victims of Flight 93. Pres. Trump was there. ( don't care if you like him or not ) The wife and I was there the following day, Sept.12 Sat. The mood was still very somber. The parking lot as filled. Even to it was 72 degrees everywhere else, it was 61 at the memorial. Many chills up and down the spine. The tower of voices was whispering, which gave a very eerie sound.
This is the second time we were there. The first time it was just starting to be constructed and not all the plans were finalized. This was 2 or 3 years AFTER the crash. What the park service did is great. A lasting tribute to all who gave their lives so may more could live. Our nation showed it's gratitude by uniting after that day. American flags flew everywhere. We need to remember and always show gratitude to the passengers and crews of all 4 flights. Also, to the many firefighters, first responders , and constructions workers that lost their lives in n attempt to save others. NEVER FORGET
