Hello All,
Being summertime is upon us I thought I'd repost a story I wrote a few years back about one of my summers as a lifeguard at a beach. Long hot days watching all the young girls, hot teasing Milfs and that one particular girl that stole my heart for the summer.

All Summer Long

Howdy Folks

Ole Jahoo here, just wanted to play you a little song.

Hoped you liked it. Bet ya are wondering why ole Jahoo was playing that one. Well, tonight I went out for a little air, check the skies, look at the stars. The heat and humidity were heavy, the air was still. Downright uncomfortable.

But then it hit me, like the heaviness of the night, tightly wrapping me up. It is summertime again. Not the one I am used to anymore, where it is hot and sweaty weather. Weather that makes you want to hide inside the house with the air conditioning on. It was weather from the summers of my youth. More specifically, that last summer before the world changed for me.

The last summer I was home was so different from all the summers before. I had a full-time job, my driver's license, and the trust of my folks. All this equaled freedom I had never had before. I was on my own so to say.

I was lifeguarding during the day at a little resort, lol, more like a series of little ponds connected by fishing shacks and houses. On one of them they had dumped some sand in and created a small beach. It was fun but a lot of work. By day two, the other lifeguards had quit, and I was the only one. So, I never had a break except for rainy days. But the benefits for a teenage boy were numerous. All the food in the snack house, snow cones brought to me, the bored, teasing Milfs, and young teenage girls to ogle and chat up. I was in heaven.,

Nights were running around with friends and going to swim meets. By this time, I had made friends with people from other swim teams so after the meets we'd hit their local fun spots and I would play host when they were in my town. All was good.

Then one day a group of kids that lived where I life-guarded asked me to come over and hang out with them that night. We met on a hill overlooking the lake inside a group of pine trees. At one time they use to sell those trees at Christmas. We had a good time, sitting around a little campfire, telling stories and listening to music. But the heat was getting to us. It was one of those hot and muggy nights.

I finally said, hey I got the key to the beach, let’s go over there and swim. We moved the party over to the side of the hill above the beach where you couldn't see from the road. There in the darkness we laughed and joked about swimsuits. Well, these folks were used to crashing the beach at night during the summer so they were prepared. Luckily, I still had a suit in the car. Soon we were all heading to the water.

We swam out to the floating dock and climbed up. We were all wet but the breeze was cooling. Then er, um, two by two if ya know what I mean, people would slip into the water and swim under the dock. Well, sort of, the dock used barrels as floats so there were little channels under the dock.

Oh my, it was sort of exciting, thinking with a teen mind what was going on under there. Especially hearing the giggles and see the smiles when they returned. But a little sad too, you see, most of the people there were kinda hooked up. There were only a couple of us that weren't.

But there was this one girl there. Oh my, she was a dream. But she was also one of the few that wouldn't talk to me during the day at the beach, sort of had the impression that she thought she was better than me yanno. She was too hot for ole Jahoo.

But she came over and asked me if I'd like to go exploring. I just about lost it right then and there. So, we slipped into the water and made our way under that floating dock. If it was possible, my knees were shaking as I swam. We sort of took a spot over by an edge where people weren't sitting above us. And started the teenage shuffle, you remember that? Suddenly finding yourself all alone with someone of the opposite sex and trying to make small talk.

Well, she broke it by swimming over and wrapping her arms and legs around me. Holding on to me instead of the float. Oh my, I was in heaven because there were parts of our bodies touching, rather forcefully, moving around, rubbing that I've never had before. Guess you could say I fell in love at first clench. We had our make out session and then you could hear the others saying time was up.

Soon after reemerging the party sort of broke up. We made our way to the shore and gathered things up and left in different directions. I did ask her if I could take her home and she hopped in the car. We shared a quick good night kiss as she was getting out. She said I will see you tomorrow.

Oh wow, the next day I was flying high to work, but like before she turned out to be cold and distant. What gives? Last night she was sucking the lungs out of my mouth, today nothing. When it was time to close, I caught up with her before she left, I asked her why was she so distant. She said to meet her back here after dark and she will tell me why she was cold and indifferent.

I came back later that night. She wasn't there. I was just about ready to leave when she came running up. She couldn't get out of the house. She was sorry. Unlocking the gate she stepped ahead of me and went back over to the side of the hill. I spread out a blanket and we sat down.

It was another one of those hot and muggy nights, like tonight. I could even feel the sweat starting to form on my neck. I'm not sure if it was the heat, her, or the fact that I suddenly realized, it was just us here alone and I was not sure how to start the conversation.

She finally broke the ice by telling me she was sorry for the way she acted. You see, she stays with her aunt during the summer, she helps babysit her younger cousins during the day. Take them to the beach. That is why she doesn't speak too much to me. She knew they would tease and tell on her, and her aunt was protective of her when it came to the boys in the area. But once the kids are asleep, her aunt goes to bed and sleeps pretty sound. That is when she slips out and walks around, just to have alone time. She had found some other girls that lived there and started hanging out with them. When her aunt found out, she was allowed to go out with them, they were all "good" girls from the neighborhood. Come to find out, her aunt and dad did the same thing when they were young. Sort of a tradition in that community for the teens to roam around at night in the summer as long as they didn’t cause problems.

She also said she had heard stories about the float and had always wanted to try it, but since all the guys she found interesting already had girlfriends, those being her friends, she was sort of left out. She went on to say she was happy that I had come along because she didn’t like any of the other unattached boys that hung out with them and she wanted to try what goes on under that float so bad.

Well, what could I say, lol, I guess when you are a teenage boy and can't find words you just kiss. So, our little make out session from the night before continued. Until things sort of got really hot and sweaty. I said let’s go for a swim and cool off, assuming she wore her suit. Well, guess what, she didn't. oopsie. I sort of joked about not really needing any and, well, OMG, she took it as a challenge. She went around the bushes at the edge of the water and then I heard a splash. I see things dangling from the bush and well, I stripped out of my shorts as I was running towards the water.

I caught up with her at the float and we went straight under it. Oh my, the feelings that were had that night were incredible. Oh don't worry, we were still shy, awkward teens, but let me tell you. It was close yanno. : )

It seemed like just moments when she said she needed to get back, so we made our way back in. This time though, we got out together and dressed.

This continued for the rest of the summer. Some nights, friends, fires, music and, well, some stolen drink too. But the nights that will always stay in my mind, the ones that will always be brought back on nights like tonight were the nights when it was just her and I. Hot, muggy nights on the side of the hill, then slipping off into the cooling water and the steamy float.

So yes, when I first heard that song so many years ago, it took me back, back to those hot summer nights. Thoughts of her and knowing when fall came, when she went home, she would become just a memory to have when the weather turns hot.

Guess I'd better close and get on to bed. But maybe, maybe, I'll sneak out again tonight and see if she shows up just one more time.

Ya'll have a good one.
